WF Director of Finance & Administration Taben Azad is among 20 individuals working to make Wichita an inclusive place for all. In August, he was named to the Wichita Business Journal’s 2022 Diversity & Inclusion list for his work at the Wichita Asian Association (WAA).
At the Foundation, Taben blends his financial strategy mindset with his drive to transform our community. As a Wichita native and President of WAA, he works to elevate the Association and shine a light on representing the Asian American community. Taben is also active with the National Association of Asian American Professionals Wichita and Rise Up for Youth.
“WAA’s mission is to promote the education of Asian culture and this award symbolizes our efforts in providing the opportunity for all to succeed,” said Azad. “We all benefit from diversity and Wichita is headed in a positive direction when it comes to supporting communities of color.”
Taben's experience and focus will bring valuable insight to the Foundation's goals to impact economic mobility in Wichita.
